Part of keeping your teeth healthy is eating a diet that doesn’t put your enamel at risk, or build up excess amounts of plaque. But it’s hard to know, aside from the obvious sugary foods and soft drinks, what’s good and what isn’t for your teeth.
So let’s look at some teeth friendly foods.

Cheese
This might not be your first choice for a snack, but numerous studies conducted lately have shown that Cheddar, Swiss, and mozzarella are great for your teeth. That’s because these cheeses all stimulate saliva production. Saliva is your body’s natural defense against plaque and bacteria. Foods that stimulate saliva production are always going to be a safe bet for your teeth’s health.

Lean meat
If you’re a meat-eater, you can rest easy knowing that lean meats are good for your teeth.

Fruits and vegetables
We already know that these are good for your overall health, but they’re also great for your teeth. That’s because fruit and veggies do the same thing as cheese – stimulate saliva production. A healthy, balanced diet can do much more than just help you lose weight or stay in shape. It can also give you great oral health.
